You'll find natural terrain with hills, mature trees that provide plenty of shade, and benches for owners to relax. A water fountain is available to keep dogs hydrated, but there are no separate areas for large and small dogs. Located within Bayside Park near the Bay Trail along the waterfront, this space offers a fenced, ¾-acre off-leash area with separate sections for large and small dogs. Amenities include benches, a small pergola providing limited shade, and a water station for thirsty dogs. The terrain is primarily dirt and can become dusty. Located within Ray Park in the Burlingame Hills neighborhood, this compact, fenced off-leash area offers a nice spot for neighborhood dogs to play freely. Cuernavaca Park, located at Alcazar Drive and Hunt Drive in Burlingame, CA, offers a grassy off-leash area for dogs daily from 6:00 am to 7:30 am. Please note that this area isn't fenced, so ensure your dog is is trained to mind commands to not run beyond the park permimeter during the park's off-leash hours. Washington Park offers an off-leash area near the Rose Garden for dogs to enjoy each morning, from 6am to 7:30am daily. The off-leash area is on the east side of the park, behind the Recreation Center. This area is not fenced, so it's essential to ensure your dog is under voice control and won't run away. Washington Park's Outfield also offers a seasonal off-leash area fo dogs to play freely on the athletic field during designated hours: Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. The off-leash area is closed from December through February for field maintenance, and from June through August to accommodate summer camps. As the area isn't enclosed, be sure your dog is under voice control at all times.
